HRT III Heidelberg Engineering

It is used in the diagnosis of glaucoma. It allows the examination of the cross-section of the optic nerve within the eye (optic disc). In glaucoma, a cupping develops within the optic disc. The diameter of this cupping increases as glaucoma progresses. HRT shows whether the cupping diameter in the optic disc is normal and whether it is increasing.
